Academies Show is a storming success

Dec 1, 2014

Whitley Stimpson’s education team has returned from a very successful 2014 Academies Show held at Birmingham NEC last week, with the opportunity to help even more Academies and schools looking to convert, negotiate their way through the myriad of finance and governance regulations.

The firm currently works with over 60 Academies and is rapidly becoming known for its excellence in providing support to Academies, Multi-Academy Trusts and Free Schools.

Whitley Stimpson’s Head of Education and Director, Martin Wyatt, once again delivered a compelling seminar entitled: ‘Bravehearts’ Brave New World,’ which took delegates on a guided journey of Academy finance, regularity and governance.

Commenting on the Academies Show, Martin Wyatt, said: “Visitors to our stand and seminar underlined a growing demand for expert external support following the increasing regulation and focus on Academy finance and governance.  We are very much looking forward to helping many more schools looking to convert and existing Academies in addition to ensuring our current clients continue to benefit from the team’s expertise.”

Whitley Stimpson’s education team hosts a range of events throughout the school year aimed at Governors, Heads, School Business Managers, Finance Directors and Bursars. E-briefs are also published on a regular basis to ensure schools and Academies are kept abreast of the very latest governance and finance developments in the sector.
