Whitley Stimpson website

Our new website is fully operational across all platforms

In time for the new year, Whitley Stimpson, one of the largest independent accountancy firms in the area, has launched a new, fully-responsive website which has been redeveloped to give visitors a seamless and enjoyable online experience, www.whitleystimpson.co.uk

Whitley Stimpson has put users at the heart of its website, which now provides a less cluttered, jargon free site, with a new enhanced and cleaner navigation experience.  The new site came about in response to the growing mobile audience, so being fully responsive now allows users to access the content they require more effectively and across any device.

The site showcases the firm’s breadth of service across its four offices in Banbury, Bicester, High Wycombe and Witney and also gives a clear insight into its work in specialist areas including Agriculture, Service Charge Accounting and Education. It also features video clips and will host blogs and guest blogs from our key directors, clients and contacts.

Jonathan Walton, director at Whitley Stimpson explains: “The time was right to create a new website, with clients wishing to access information from mobile devices and Google ranking mobile friendly websites higher, we had to completely reevaluate our website.  We wanted it to be informative for our users, so the new site allows subscription free access to many professional online documents. Most importantly we wanted it to reflect our culture and personality, so the site adopts a clear focus on people and how we work together with our clients.  We’ve also incorporated some fun elements including a meet the team page which provides an interesting insight into many of our team. Our new website is easier to navigate, it allows the user to gain the information they require in the most relevant way possible and is responsive across all digital platforms – we would welcome your feedback.”

The PracticeWEB team worked closely with Whitley Stimpson throughout the project to achieve their desired brief: “To have a more interactive website with a particular focus on the staff profiles. The site also needed to be easy to navigate and easy to update using the content management system and most importantly it was essential that the new site should be responsive, to allow mobile users to have an easy-to-use experience. After a series of meetings and working through various design and UX ideas, we came up with a concept that we were all happy with and the end result is a user-friendly, crisp clean site with a lot of personality. It has been a really exciting project for us to work on, we have pushed the boundaries with both the design and functionality and are now looking forward to use it as a showcase piece!”
