Trusts and Wills

Trusts can be used by anyone wanting to plan ahead. Trusts are not just for the wealthy. Used in conjunction with a Will, you can be certain that your assets will be handed down in accordance with your wishes. They can also be a way of passing on your assets in a tax efficient way.

We can advise on:

  • The merits of establishing trusts
(taking into account related issues such as capital gains tax, inheritance tax and income tax)
  • Funding inheritance tax
  • Tax issues for beneficiaries and trustees
  • Will planning
  • Executorship
  • Arranging probate for executors and advise executors on tax issues and Deeds of Variation

We can administer trusts, prepare annual accounts and tax returns, administer the estate after probate, and arrange for the collection and distribution of assets.
