Ben graduated from Edinburgh University in 2007 having secured an MA in English Language and Literature with first class honours.  He qualified as an accountant less than 3 years after joining Whitley Stimpson and is now looking forward to beginning further examinations with a view to becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor.

His day-to-day work centers primarily on all aspects of tax and accounts preparation for all types of businesses. Ben also has considerable experience in audit and due diligence assignments and is responsible for training junior employees in the firm.

As a farmer’s son, Ben has a sensitive understanding of agriculture and has a particular interest in working for clients in that sector.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys playing and watching sport, keeping fit and completing road races.  He spends plenty of time in the countryside, enjoys reading literature and history along with listening to music and going to concerts. He also is a relatively new member of the Banbury Cross Players and can be found treading the boards of The Mill Theatre or skulking around backstage.
