My experience

After gaining a degree in Maths and Economics from Warwick University, I joined a small accountancy practice where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In order to progress my career, I realised that I needed to move to a larger firm, and after extensive research decided that Whitley Stimpson was the right fit. I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of areas including personal tax, accountancy, corporate tax and audit in the profession. I really enjoy the variety of clients that I’ve looked after over the years. I have a particular interest in Charities and I’m one of the firm’s specialists in this area.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

I look after a varied portfolio of clients. I am proud that a lot of my clients regard me as their trusted advisor. Internally, I look after the training reviews of the Bicester team as well as getting involved in ad hoc projects and procedures within the firm.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

My research into finding the right firm for me to progress my career proved to be right. Before I moved to Whitley Stimpson, I was aware that they had an excellent reputation both as an employer and within the local communities. The company provides great opportunity for progression within the firm. The level of training and support provided by the company across all levels is second to none. I’m passionate about service and the quality of the Whitley Stimpson team means we consistently deliver a high level of this to our clients.

What matters to you?

I like to feel valued, and this is certainly the case at Whitley Stimpson, both in terms of my clients and the firm. I am always keen to develop myself and have variety in my work. I constantly want to expand my technical knowledge, embracing change to ensure that I carry on delivering the best service and support to clients and my team. Whilst I am dedicated to my work, I think it important to have a healthy work/life balance so that I can continue to pursue my interests outside of work like travelling, walking and music, as well as spending time with friends and family.
