My experience

After working in industry for nearly 4 years and achieving MAAT status, I decided to make the move to practice and was fortunate enough to be able to join Whitley Stimpson in July 2019. I have since qualified with ACCA and am progressing towards a management position within the firm.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

As a qualified accountant, I am involved in reviewing and preparing limited company accounts and personal tax returns, along with supervising and training junior staff members.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

I was drawn towards Whitley Stimpson because their employees are personable and approachable, and it is great to work as part of a tight-knit team. It is a company very much focused on training and getting the best out of individuals. There is also a lot of scope for progression within the company, enabling staff to grow and prosper.

What matters to you?

A good workplace in which you are surrounded by ambitious, like-minded people that are supportive but also up for a laugh. I also believe that it is important that both staff and clients are considered, and Whitley Stimpson certainly maintains a happy relationship.
