I graduated from The University of Sheffield in 2019 with a degree in History. Before I joined Whitley Stimpson, I had previous work experience in retail environments, including helping my parents with different aspects of their small shoe business on market stalls. This means I find it easy to relate to small business owners and sole traders and understand their needs.
Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson
I’m a trainee accountant working towards my ACA qualification and am involved in preparing accounts, VAT returns and tax returns for a range of sole traders and limited companies.
Why Whitley Stimpson?
I chose Whitley Stimpson because I could instantly tell the company had a friendly and supportive atmosphere. This environment means I get the training I need and always enjoy being at work.
What matters to you?
I enjoy building relationships with colleagues and clients and understanding the business behind the numbers. Outside of work, I spend my free time with family; whether that be by travelling to new places, cooking new recipes for them, or by attending concerts and festivals with them.
