My experience

After completing my A-levels in Biology, Economics and Maths, I took a year out working in the retail industry and travelling. I then joined Whitley Stimpson’s Banbury office in September 2019.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

I am responsible for the production of accounts, VAT returns and tax returns for small businesses and sole traders, whilst studying towards ACA qualification.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

As a trainee, Whitley Stimpson’s well established training programme and reputation is very important for me, to help further my career in accountancy. Whitley Stimpson also gives me the chance to work with a very experienced team who provide strong support enabling me to learn and gain valuable knowledge.

What matters to you?

I believe it is very important to keep a healthy work and social balance. Exposing yourself to new experiences and taking yourself out of your comfort zone at work is crucial for professional development. I also feel the same about new experiences outside of work. This is why I enjoy travelling to new places and trying activities I wouldn’t normally do.
