Max Green

Trainee Accountant

My experience

I joined Whitley Stimpson in August 2018, after completing my A-Levels in Business, Maths Statistics and Psychology. I have been studying towards the ACA qualification and am now part-qualified, with only my finals left to sit.

In my time at Whitley Stimpson, I have had exposure to a vast array of different assignments, developing a strong understanding of multiple areas of accountancy and finance. Teaming this with my professional studies has given me a great basis to assist our clients in the most effective way possible.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

I mainly work on the preparation of accounts and tax returns for a variety of businesses and individuals. Other responsibilities include the preparation and completion of VAT returns, audits and service charge accounts.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

Whitley Stimpson is the ideal place for a trainee to work as the firm puts confidence in you to deliver an excellent service, providing you with the training to create a wealth of knowledge and experience.

What matters to you?

I am a naturally thorough person and everything I work on must be completed to a very high standard. Whitley Stimpson supports this ethos and allows you the responsibility to work independently, entrusting that you will deliver what is expected.

I believe a positive and upbeat working environment helps to ensure staff are motivated, which is something that has been obtained.
