There are also tax efficient ways to invest in companies, including Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs), Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes (SEIS).
Speak to us and we can help you put together a savings and investment strategy that works for you.
Pensions and retirement planning
Saving for your retirement is all about investing to accumulate capital, and pensions are one of the most tax efficient ways of doing this. A pension will allow you to get tax relief on your contributions at your highest marginal rate, and up to 25% of your fund is available as a tax-free lump sum when you retire. You can pass on your fund tax-free if you die before you are 75.
