Planning your finances

Wealth management is a phrase that sounds grand, but in fact it is important even to those on modest earnings, and really means putting together a plan to make the best of your hard-earned money.

Our team of tax experts, working alongside trusted independent financial advisers (IFAs), can build you a savings and investment strategy for now and the years ahead. Whether you want to talk about investments, pensions and retirement options, life assurance or illness insurance, or matters related to a business, we are on hand to help you plan your financial lifestyle, save on tax, and make the most of the money you have.

Tax efficient saving and investing

There are many tax efficient ways to save and invest, including banks and buildings societies, individual savings accounts (ISAs), national savings, investment bonds, stocks and shares, and property. There are also tax efficient ways to invest in companies, including Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs), Enterprise Investment Schemes (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes (SEIS).

Speak to us and we can help you put together a savings and investment strategy that works for you.

Pensions and retirement planning

Saving for your retirement is all about investing to accumulate capital, and pensions are one of the most tax efficient ways of doing this. A pension will allow you to get tax relief on your contributions at your highest marginal rate, and up to 25% of your fund is available as a tax-free lump sum when you retire. You can pass on your fund tax-free if you die before you are 75.

We can help you with your pension and retirement planning.
