Tractor-ing our way to support Katharine House Hospice

Nov 27, 2025

Whitley Stimpson is delighted to be supporting this year’s Banbury Christmas Tractor Run, celebrating its 10th anniversary as one of the region’s most-loved festive fundraising events for Katharine House Hospice.

Taking place on 13 December 2025, the Tractor Run brings together a spectacular convoy of brightly lit, beautifully decorated tractors as they travel through Banbury and the villages of North Oxfordshire, spreading Christmas cheer and raising vital funds for the hospice. With a fundraising target of £100,000, the event relies on the generosity of local people and businesses.

Lighting up the Route for Katharine House Hospice

This year, Whitley Stimpson is proudly sponsoring a tractor, partnering with a local tractor driver to feature our Whitley Stimpson banner on their tractor as part of the festive convoy.  The festive fleet will set off from Spring Hill Farm at around 5pm, making its way through South Newington, Milcombe, Bloxham, Banbury (passing our offices on Hightown Road) and surrounding villages before returning to the farm by approximately 8.30pm.

A community event like no other

The Banbury Christmas Tractor Run attracts thousands of spectators each year who line the roads to enjoy the sparkling display. With food and drink “Spotlight Stops,” a Best Dressed Tractor competition and plenty of Christmas spirit, it’s a highlight of the festive calendar, bringing people together while raising funds for a charity that is close to so many hearts.

Katharine House Hospice provides expert palliative and end-of-life care for people across North Oxfordshire and South Northamptonshire. Their work is only possible thanks to ongoing community support and events like the Tractor Run play a crucial part in helping them continue to care for patients and families.

How you can get involved

Whether you plan to watch from one of the villages or join the crowds in Banbury, the hospice is encouraging everyone to come along, enjoy the evening and help raise funds. You can donate on the night or via text by sending:

TRACTORLIGHTS 10 to 70085
(or change the number to donate a different amount).

Volunteers are still needed, particularly stewards, to help ensure the event runs safely. If you’d like to support the hospice in this way, please visit the Katharine House Hospice website.

Proud to support our community

At Whitley Stimpson, supporting local causes is an important part of who we are. We are thrilled to be involved in such a well-loved community event and to help shine a light, quite literally, on the fantastic work of Katharine House Hospice.

We hope to see many of you out along the route on 13 December. Let’s help make the Tractor Run’s 10th year its biggest success yet. And if you spot our tractor, take a photo and tag us on social media!
