Whitley Stimpson Share Pension Expertise Alongside Wise Investment in Two-Part Webinar Series

Oct 27, 2020

Earlier this month we teamed up with local wealth management and financial planning business Wise Investment to host two pension webinars.

As a firm of chartered accountants and business advisors looking to add value to our clients and local business professionals, we adapted to the ‘new normal’ by offering these informative online events to enable people to attend from wherever they are comfortable.

Ian Parker, one of our directors presented the two webinars which were a great success alongside Angus Aston, a senior financial planner at Wise Investment. There was also the opportunity to ask the speakers questions at the end of the webinar.

Webinar 1 – Pensions for Business Owners

The first webinar took place on 8 October 2020 and provided valuable information about pensions with a focus on business owners.

The following areas were covered:

  • How pension relief works and the differences between personal and company contributions

  • Considering a diversified investment strategy and how funds held within a pension can be utilised
  • A look at the current pension landscape following the changes to pension access over the last few years
  • How pension funds can be used as part of successful Inheritance Tax planning
