Whitley Stimpson, who earlier in the year sponsored the Witney Beer Festival, were this weekend pleased to sponsor the Haddenham Beer Festival, known as Summerfest.
The festival enabled guests to sample and enjoy over 140 barrels of real ale, with many coming from local brewers. For the non-ale drinkers, there was a healthy selection of craft beers and lagers as well as over 30 different ciders. Pimms, prosecco, wine and soft drinks were also available.
There was exciting live music from a variety of local bands for guests to enjoy, with delicious food stalls providing a wide range of eating options.
Marie Morgan, a director at the firm’s Bicester office, attended the day with her family and was keen to express her thoughts on Summerfest. She said: “It was a great day out – a lovely sunny day and very busy in the afternoon as people brought along chairs and picnics.
“The live music and food was good and the kids were happy with a bouncy castle and face painting too!
“It was great to see our name behind such a brilliant event and according to Paul, my husband, the ale Whitley Stimpson sponsored was one of the best!”

Summerfest has helped to raise £246,000 for local causes and continues to be one of the focal points of the local calendar. The organisers of Summerfest, The Haddenham Beer Festivals Trust, also organise Winterfest which will be held on 9th December and will again be sponsored by Whitley Stimpson.
Martyn Broughton, who is part of the team behind the two festivals, said: “Close to 4,000 visitors enjoyed their day with us, drinking and eating all that was available to them. We had entertainment for all ages and live bands which made it into a true family occasion.
“All funds raised go straight back into worthy causes in the local communitites of Haddenham, Thame and surrounding areas so a huge thanks to all our volunteers and sponsors who made it all happen.
“Come along and have a pre-Christmas drink with us at Winterfest on the 9th December!”
Whitley Stimpson, who have offices in High Wycombe, Bicester, Banbury and Witney, have been supporting local events like Summerfest for over 86 years and is dedicated to bringing communities together.
