It has come to our attention that some people have been receiving bogus emails from a source claiming to be Companies House.
The scam message advised the recipient that their accounts needed to be filed by the end of May, even though they had actually been filed several months beforehand.
The email looks realistic upon first inspection; however one example of the fraudulent message used an address ending in “@companieshousei.com” which is false.
