After completing a degree in Maths and Economics from Warwick University, I moved back home to Salisbury where I joined a small accountancy practice and started my ACA training. Here I gained experience in a variety of areas of audit, accountancy and tax and qualified as an accountant in 2015. Having recently relocated to Warwickshire in April 2017 I was pleased to continue my career by joining Whitley Stimpson where I have already been made to feel very welcome.
Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson
My role at Whitley Stimpson involves supporting Directors with the preparation of accounts and tax work for a wide variety of clients
Why Whitley Stimpson?
I chose to work here as the firm has an excellent reputation within the local community whilst having a friendly and approachable feel. The company provides great opportunities for training for staff which is reflected in the excellent service provided to clients.
What matters to you?
As accountancy is constantly evolving and changing I enjoy gaining more technical knowledge as I progress through my career and hope to keep up a variety of skills in the future. I also believe it is important to have a healthy work/life balance and in my spare time I enjoy travelling and baking.
