I graduated from Coventry University with a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Business and Accounting, before joining Whitley Stimpson back in 2008. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012. As well as continually developing my technical skills, I look after a diverse range of clients and have a wealth of experience in many areas – particularly audit.
Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson
I am a local office director working out of our main office in Banbury. I take care of a varied portfolio of our larger corporate clients and head up our audit department. I’m also responsible for the ACA training in the Banbury office as well as being part of the compliance team.
Why Whitley Stimpson?
Training and development of people is high on the agenda at Whitley Stimpson, which is one of the reasons we have such a great bunch! Investing in our teams enables us to deliver a tailormade quality service to our customers. I like nothing more than working with my clients to help them achieve their objectives.
What matters to you?
I like building strong relationships and take time to add value to my clients by really understanding them, allowing me to provide support and deliver sound advice. This is carried through into Whitley Stimpson’s approach to audits, where we ensure as far as possible that our clients have the continuity of dealing with the same people, enabling them to really get to know us. I am passionate about raising the bar on audit quality and value; by delivering informed, innovative solutions, and challenging procedures so I can identify improvement opportunities.
