My experience

After graduating with LLB Law with Business degree from the University of Portsmouth, I decided that I wanted to change career path and moved to accounting.  This led to me spending two years working in industry.  I have recently made the move into practice by joining Whitley Stimpson as the Agricultural Trainee studying towards my ACCA Qualification.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

My role at Whitley Stimpson is aiding in year end and month end accounts focusing predominantly on Agricultural accounting.  Alongside training towards my ACCA qualification.

Why Whitley Stimpson?

I chose Whitley Stimpson due to knowing people who already work for the company and from hearing about the well-established programme and reputation it has.  As a trainee, this was exactly what I was looking for when joining an accountancy firm, as I was looking for a company that could I both work for through my qualification and then continue to work for after achieving my ACCA.

What matters to you?

What matters to me is being able to work in a place that I make an impact but also have the time and energy outside of work to spend time with family and friends, whist also keeping up my hobbies.
