My experience

I have been a part of the Whitley Stimpson team for just over six years, predominantly helping SME businesses. I like to work closely with clients on a day-to-day basis to provide them with the advice they need to be able to effectively run their business. Dealing with company accounts, management accounts, VAT and company taxation, I am able to advise on a variety of company issues.

I have a passion for tax and as a result, manage a large proportion of the High Wycombe office’s personal tax clients and enjoy identifying opportunities to save tax where possible.

Describe what you do at Whitley Stimpson

I am involved in the general compliance aspects for all my clients and like to think that I am proactive in providing advice. I hold annual ‘pre-year-end tax planning meetings’ with my clients, whether we can identify any opportunity to save tax, or just to reflect on how the business has progressed, it allows me to catch up with my clients at least once a year. I think it is important to build strong, long-lasting relationships with all clients.

I also assist in managing the team in the High Wycombe Office. It is important to me that our staff are happy!

Why Whitley Stimpson?

Having worked in a smaller firm in my previous role, I was excited by the opportunities Whitley Stimpson had to offer. Our pro-active accountancy advice, coupled with a friendly working environment and challenging career prospects, was the reason I chose Whitley Stimpson as my next career move…and I have not been disappointed!

What matters to you?

Clients and staff are my main priority! I enjoy working closely with businesses to help them grow, as well as assisting to develop our team, so that we can provide the right level of advice to those who require it.

When I’m not working, I enjoy a variety of sports and am part of a number of netball teams, playing on a regular basis. I also love catching up with friends and family!
